What I think about the brushes?  (Jeff's call)
I’ve been using these Procreate brushes for over two years now, and they’ve completely changed the way I create tattoo designs. They make it so much easier to create artwork that actually looks like a real tattoo. When you show this to a client, they can visualize the final result much better—unlike other brushes that leave unrealistic marks. That’s what I love about these brushes: they help me present my work in a way that truly reflects how the tattoo will turn out.
 
They’re also great for practice! Especially with the Magnum brushes, you start to understand the right motion and direction for real tattooing. The strokes you make in Procreate translate directly to the tattooing process, so when you move to real skin, you already have a clear idea of how to approach it. Since these brushes mimic actual tattoo needles, they naturally improve your technique and confidence.
 
If there’s one thing to keep in mind, it’s that, just like with real tattoos, you need to keep your strokes parallel. Random, unstructured passes can make the design look messy, same thing with tattoing. Keeping smooth, consistent snd parallel strokes will give you the best results. Lowering the brush opacity is also a great trick for achieving a more natural, realistic look—just like some examples I posted.
