Studio Practice Stencils – Vol. 01 is a collection of 40 native Procreate stencil files created specifically for tattoo design practice. I built this set based on my 12+ years of experience as a professional tattoo artist, focusing on real studio workflow and the core fundamentals behind strong tattoo designs.

These stencils are made for training tattoo design directly in Procreate. Each file includes both the stencil and the original drawing reference, allowing you to practice line work, line weight, shading, volume, contrast, flow, and overall composition while accurately reproducing each design.

The collection covers multiple styles and design structures, making it ideal for practicing different tattoo aesthetics and approaches. It’s designed to help you develop control, consistency, and confidence in your tattoo drawing process.

All files are fully ready to use in Procreate — just tap, open, and start practicing. Load the file, grab your tattoo brushes, and focus on improving your tattoo designs through structured, studio-level practice.

How to Use – Procreate Files (Step by Step Guide)

This guide will help you open and use the stencil files on your iPad, even if this is your first time using Procreate files.

Step 1 – Download the File

After completing your purchase, download the file directly on your iPad.

Make sure the download is finished before moving to the next step.

Step 2 – Open the Files App

Open the Files app on your iPad.

At the bottom or top menu, tap on Recents to easily find the downloaded file.

Step 3 – Unzip the File

Locate the downloaded .zip file.

Tap once or twice on the file and iOS will automatically unzip it.

A new folder with all the Procreate files will appear.

Step 4 – Choose the File You Want to Practice

Open the folder and browse through the files.

Each file is a .procreate file and contains the stencil and the original reference.

Step 5 – Open in Procreate

Simply tap on the .procreate file you want to study.

The file will open automatically inside Procreate.

No extra setup is needed. Once the file opens, you can start practicing lines, shading, volume, and tattoo design techniques right away.

That’s It!

Repeat this process with any file in the folder whenever you want to practice a different design.
